How to Stand Out in an Interview Process

Job interviews can be incredibly nerve wracking, especially when it’s a role you think you’d really love. Standing out in an interview process comes down to your preparation, there are a few simple ways you can do this effectively in the lead up:

  1. Research the brand and have a good understanding of their business

  2. Dress to suit the brand or business, gone are the days where you need to dress corporately for every interview

  3. Showcase your personality, culture fit is as important to the employer as it is to you

  4. Have at least 5 well thought out and researched questions prepared

  5. Go through the job description and ensure you have examples to support your experience

Most of all, relax and enjoy meeting the interviewers! Building a rapport with them is the best thing you can do to stand out. Good luck!
