How long have you worked at Frame for?
I’ve been at Frame for nearly four years now, with my fourth anniversary coming up in June.
What do you love most about your role?
What I love most about my role is the ability to support candidates throughout their entire journey into new careers and roles. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of an important pivot in their working lives. Additionally, working collaboratively with the Frame team is something I really value—we’re always on the same page, evolving and finding new ways to improve.
Tell us about your career background before Frame?
Before Frame, I worked as a Brand Manager in wholesale fashion, managing clothing, footwear, and accessories. I had the chance to work closely with many incredible retailers across New Zealand and helped introduce growing international brands to the market. I’m grateful for the solid foundation and strong understanding I gained of the NZ retail landscape.
What are your predictions for the fashion job market in 2025?
I think the fashion job market in 2025 will keep evolving, with tech and sustainability leading the way. As consumers put more focus on digital fashion and make more conscious buying choices, I see roles in these areas growing. I also feel like the industry will keep shifting towards being more diverse and inclusive, with more community involvement and cross-collaboration. It’s definitely going to be a more dynamic and value-driven space.
Favorite brands to shop:
NZ brands that always make it onto my wish list include Marle, Caitlin Crisp, and Ruby. I’m also a big fan of Zara denim. Outside of work, you’ll often find me in activewear that doubles as streetwear, especially brands from Stirling Sports and, more recently, I Love Ugly. The other half of my wardrobe is made up of gems I’ve scored from local Christchurch thrift stores like Nifty and Recycle Boutique.
What do you love doing in your spare time?
Away from the computer screen, I love anything outdoorsy—always up for something that involves nature, the ocean, and getting my heart rate up. Right now, I’m in my 'running girl' era, and my best girlfriends are joining me on the journey. We’re often out having 'run and yap' dates—getting in our KMs while catching up on life!
Tell us a wild fact about yourself:
Last year, I traveled solo across Asia in pursuit of the ultimate adventure. This included completing my Yoga Teacher Training in India, setting a free diving personal best of 17m in the Philippines, training at a Muay Thai camp in Thailand, and being seriously humbled by surfing the biggest waves of my life in the Mentawai Islands.
