Accounts & Finance Manager, Fashion | Auckland

They are looking for an experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to take full ownership of the company's day-to-day financial operations. This is a broad, hands-on role that sits right at the heart of the business, covering everything from daily reconciliations and payroll through to compliance, cash flow, and year-end reporting. You will have real autonomy here, with the chance to make a tangible impact across multiple areas of the business.
What You Will Be Doing
Reconciling daily sales across retail and ecommerce channels and managing accounts payable and receivable end to end
Maintaining accurate financial records in MYOB AccountRight and performing daily data entry and reconciliations
Preparing and filing GST returns and managing PAYE obligations and all IRD compliance requirements
Processing fortnightly payroll via iPayroll, including timesheets, leave, and employee records
Preparing and maintaining daily cash flow forecasts and budgets across multiple entities
Supporting month-end and year-end processes including adjustments, GL reconciliations, and liaison with external accountants
Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and managing employee contracts and records
What You Will Bring
Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance administration role
Strong working knowledge of MYOB AccountRight
Solid understanding of NZ accounting standards and IRD requirements
Experience across payroll and HR administration
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines
Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
