They are looking for an experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to take full ownership of the company's day-to-day financial operations. This is a broad, hands-on role that sits right at the heart of the business, covering everything from daily reconciliations and payroll through to compliance, cash flow, and year-end reporting. You will have real autonomy here, with the chance to make a tangible impact across multiple areas of the business.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Reconciling daily sales across retail and ecommerce channels and managing accounts payable and receivable end to end

  • Maintaining accurate financial records in MYOB AccountRight and performing daily data entry and reconciliations

  • Preparing and filing GST returns and managing PAYE obligations and all IRD compliance requirements

  • Processing fortnightly payroll via iPayroll, including timesheets, leave, and employee records

  • Preparing and maintaining daily cash flow forecasts and budgets across multiple entities

  • Supporting month-end and year-end processes including adjustments, GL reconciliations, and liaison with external accountants

  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries and managing employee contracts and records

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance administration role

  • Strong working knowledge of MYOB AccountRight

  • Solid understanding of NZ accounting standards and IRD requirements

  • Experience across payroll and HR administration

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
