We have a unique opportunity for a menswear specialist buyer to join a brand that’s on an exciting trajectory. As someone with proven experience in menswear, you are the person we need to step into this senior role and support the merchandise manager in developing a brand that’s poised for growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and quantifying major trends
Source appropriate merchandise for category and review supplier ranges
Select vendors appropriate for product
Negotiate trade terms in conjunction with Merchandise Manager
Visit stores and identify sales and promotional opportunities
In conjunction with Planner, determine retail prices based on criteria provided by Buying Manager (price points, desired margin etc)
Review proposed list of “in season clearance” based on sales performance provided by Planner
Continually review on going assortment and manage category
Ensure full library of samples for advertising
Ensure post-seasonal analysis is completed in a timely manner
