They’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Assistant Accountant to keep the finance side of a multi-channel fashion business running beautifully.
Retail stores, online and wholesale, all moving fast, across multiple entities. It’s a busy, creative environment where no two days look the same.
What you’ll be doing
Processing payroll, salaries, and timesheets for Retail and Head Office
Managing high-volume accounts payable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Commission reporting
Preparing month-end customer statements
Store banking and reconciliations
Processing retail payments and refunds, plus wholesale payments
What you’ll bring
3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment
Experience working across multiple entities
Payroll experience, ideally with Employment Hero
Strong working knowledge of Xero
Excellent attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
The ability to work independently, meet deadlines and juggle a varied workload
A proactive, practical approach and a willingness to back the wider finance team
The role
Office-based in Newmarket, with staff parking
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Permanent, full-time
Ideally, the team at Trelise Cooper would love someone to start on 2 November 2026, allowing for a handover and training period before you take the reins.
