Our client is a well-established fashion apparel company with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. They are seeking an experienced Senior Garment Technician to lead the technical development process while managing a team of four Garment Technicians, ensuring exceptional fit, quality, and consistency across all collections.

This role will see you working closely with design, merchandising, and offshore suppliers, providing technical expertise from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining graded specification sheets and technical packs

  • Developing and managing fit standards, grade rules, and garment construction guidelines

  • Preparing and signing off patterns for production

  • Checking pre-production and shipping samples, troubleshooting any issues that arise

  • Testing and recording fabrics and trims for costing, quality, and compliance

  • Managing the design handover process to ensure garments meet brand and fit standards

  • Communicating with offshore suppliers to ensure clarity and efficiency

  • Supporting and leading a team of 4 Garment Technicians

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Garment Technician role

  • Strong technical knowledge of garment and textile construction

  • Proven experience working with offshore manufacturers

  • A highly organised and detail-focused approach, with strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
