Imports & Inventory Administrator, Brittain Wynyard, Auckland
Frame HR is proud to be working exclusively with Brittain Wynyard, a well established New Zealand distributor of leading sports, adventure and lifestyle brands. Working across 30+ suppliers and around 40 brands from all over the world, they supply over 1,000 wholesale stockists as well as their own retail and eCommerce channels. It's the kind of business people stay at, which says a lot about the culture.
We're looking for an intermediate Imports & Inventory Administrator to join the team on a 15-month fixed term contract, covering a period of parental leave. This is a hands on, admin heavy role at the centre of the business's inwards goods and stock process, you'll be the one making sure shipments, costings and stock records are accurate and on time, working closely with the logistics manager, warehouse, freight partners and the wider team. It's not a people management role, but it does need someone who can work autonomously, think on their feet, stay organised under pressure and hold their own with demanding stakeholders.
What the job entails:
Process and receipt inwards goods each morning, checking quantities and costs are correct
Create and upload costings for shipments, ensuring freight and customs documentation is accurate and signed off by the brand managers
Oversee customs declarations across a high volume of imported stock
Keep stock adjustments accurate and coordinate with the 3PL for regular stock takes
Track incoming shipments alongside the Logistics Manager, liaising with freight forwarders and the 3PL warehouse partner to chase up delays or discrepancies
Coordinate logistics of 6+ containers per week from the port to the 3PL
Communicate proactively with sales reps to keep them updated on stock timing and any issues
Generate stock reports for the wider team on a monthly and ad hoc basis
What you'll bring:
Experience in a similar import logistics, inventory or supply chain role, ideally within a high-volume, multi-brand wholesale or FMCG environment
Confident, intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
Experience with an ERP or inventory system (full training provided on their in-house system)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised across multiple shipments and deadlines
A proactive, solutions focused mindset, someone who looks for outliers rather than waiting to be told
Resilience and the confidence to hold your own with assertive stakeholders
Great communication skills and a genuine team player attitude
What's on offer:
Flexible start and finish times & a WFH day each week
Amazing staff discounts across company brands
A genuine handover from the person you're covering for, plus a supportive, hands off manager
Very social team culture with group fitness classes, run clubs and more
The chance to work with amazing people and brands.
If this sounds like your kind of role, we'd love to hear from you. Send your CV to Bindy Williams-Lough at kerri@frameconsulting.co.nz.
*Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates with the relevant experience will be contacted.
