We are seeking a talented Merchandise Assistant to support our client's buying team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion and eager to contribute to successful merchandising strategies in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing merchandise assortments aligned with seasonal trends and sales objectives.

  • Analyse sales data and collaborate with the merchandising team to optimise inventory levels.

  • Support the development of product presentations and maintain visual merchandising standards in-store.

  • Help manage inventory records and support stock management processes.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Provide administrative support to the merchandising team as needed.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in retail merchandising or a similar role is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A genuine passion for fashion and an understanding of current market trends.
