We are seeking a talented Merchandise Assistant to support our client's buying team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion and eager to contribute to successful merchandising strategies in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing merchandise assortments aligned with seasonal trends and sales objectives.
Analyse sales data and collaborate with the merchandising team to optimise inventory levels.
Support the development of product presentations and maintain visual merchandising standards in-store.
Help manage inventory records and support stock management processes.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Provide administrative support to the merchandising team as needed.
Qualifications and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in retail merchandising or a similar role is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for fashion and an understanding of current market trends.
