We are recruiting a highly organised, confident individual with previous experience in production, timeline management, the critical path process and navigating associated software support systems. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production and garment ordering process to achieve delivery in full and on-time. Our client has a solid reputation, produces quality garments and has a very systematic approach.

You will have key relationships with many external and internal stakeholders; including Suppliers/Factories, Merchandise Managers, Garment Techs, QC inspectors, shipping and 3PL providers. The role will include, but is not limited to;

 1. Production management

  • Full critical path management ensuring suppliers have all information required for production

  • Communication with suppliers to track and progress production

  • Garment and production risk assessment

  • Progress and exception reporting

  • Commercial decision making as part of the process

 2. Order processing

  • Order placement to be monitored and entered into ERP system (AP21)

  • Preparation of data for sales order set up

  • Order updates in line with delivery and costing requirements

  • Sales order reporting and generating order confirmations

 3. Sales support

  • Provide support to the merchandise team in customer meetings; including preparation of samples and selling tools

  • When required, arrange and manage salesman sample process

  • General customer service support and associated administrative duties.

 As the successful candidate, you will have:

  •  5+ years experience in a similar merchandising position

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to adapt and take on a variety of tasks

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Analytical thinking and excellent attention to detail
