With a strong design identity and a loyal customer following, taylor has built a discerning client base across five stores nationwide. Their retail portfolio comprises three taylor boutiques alongside its concept store, The Shelter, including the flagship Ponsonby location and a recently opened store in Dunedin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that lives and breathes design excellence.
We’re seeking a Retail Business Manager to lead their retail stores with a hands on approach. Splitting your time between the Auckland stores and head office, you'll support the Retail Managers day-to-day, drive sales across stores, and be the vital link between retail, production, marketing and e-commerce; ensuring every client touchpoint feels seamless and every store reflects the brands at their very best.
What you'll be doing
Supporting Retail Managers with daily store operations, leading by example on the floor
Driving sales and building genuine relationships with a high-end client base
Championing a positive, solutions-focused retail culture with open, two-way feedback
Working closely with e-commerce to uphold a consistent, on-brand client experience
Communicating production deliveries and marketing activity to the retail team
Being the voice of retail, bringing ideas and feedback back to the design and marketing teams
Monitoring stock levels and movements to keep availability on point
Ensuring stores are immaculately presented, with windows and mannequins refreshed regularly
Supporting recruitment, training and team development across the stores
What you'll bring
Proven leadership experience in high-end or designer fashion retail
A natural ability to inspire, coach and bring out the best in a team
Confidence liaising across retail, production, marketing and head office
A sharp eye for visual merchandising and brand presentation
Strong organisational skills with the flexibility to move between store and office
A love of considered design and quality fabrication
