We have a long-term recruitment partnership with one of New Zealand’s most loved fashion designer brands, and we’re delighted to be supporting them by sourcing a pivotal role in their retail team, a Retail Store Manager for their flagship boutique.

With an aim to create beautiful and well-crafted Items to be loved by people for decades, this is a local company with global reach. As their Retail Manager, you will drive store performance, shape team culture, and contribute to strategic initiatives across the retail group. This role blends operational excellence with leadership influence, making you a key player in both store-level success and broader business development.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, ensuring a premium customer experience

  • Lead the team to consistently exceed sales targets, KPIs, and budget expectations

  • Manage staffing plans, training schedules, and performance development

  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting, including weekly banking and financial summaries

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance review processes

  • Execute visual merchandising strategies that drive engagement and conversion

  • Provide feedback on product placement and performance to inform future planning

  • 3 years+ in a fashion retail management role

  • Proven sales results in a fashion retail environment
