Store Manager – Fashion Boutique, Dunedin

US$0.00
  • Monday to Friday hours

  • Autonomous role with a trusted, established fashion brand

  • Supportive owners and a great team culture

We’re on the lookout for a lovely, experienced Store Manager to lead a women's fashion store in central Dunedin. With the chance to run the store as your own and enjoy regular weekday hours, this is a rare opportunity for someone who loves retail but wants more balance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, staffing, stock and visual merchandising

  • Leading and motivating a small team with your collaborative, hands-on style

  • Creating an exceptional customer experience and fostering loyalty

  • Managing inventory levels, receipting and preparing stock for online sales if needed

  • Supporting and attending seasonal buying meetings and product knowledge sessions

  • Reporting on sales, trends and customer feedback directly to the brand’s Directors

  • Maintaining a clean, welcoming and well-merchandised space that reflects the brand

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a Store Manager or Assistant Manager role (fashion or lifestyle retail preferred)

  • A collaborative leadership style – you love to mentor and bring out the best in your team

  • A warm, confident approach with customers and staff alike

  • Commercial mindset – able to manage KPIs, targets, and store profitability

  • Strong organisational and admin skills, with attention to detail

  • A can-do, calm attitude and the ability to take ownership of your store

Perks of the Role:

  • 10am–4pm Monday to Friday

  • Competitive hourly rate

  • Flexible start in August, part-time to begin if needed

  • Genuine support from the Directors and a say in the store’s success

  • Loyal customer base and a beautiful boutique environment

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a boutique store you can be proud of, with great hours and a generous hourly rate. If you’re passionate about fashion, people, and leading a small team with care, we’d love to chat.

Apply by sending your CV to Bindy Williams-Lough at bindy@frameconsulting.co.nz.
