Trade Business Development Manager

To fuel this growth, they are on the hunt for a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead their trade initiatives.
As the Trade Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind Nodi’s sales strategy in Auckland. Your goal will be to cultivate and nurture relationships with top-tier architects, visionary interior designers, and elite retail partners. Using your consultative sales approach, you’ll enhance Nodi’s stature in the design industry while driving impressive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Ignite trade and retail sales in Auckland, achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Identify and connect with new customers through market insights and industry relationships.
Develop and implement innovative sales strategies aligned with Nodi’s vision.
Host consultations and stylish site visits to showcase Nodi's product range.
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, and key trade partners.
Manage relationships with flooring retail partners, delivering training and tracking sales performance.
Act as a bridge between design accounts and the NPD team, ensuring customer feedback informs product development.
Oversee the execution of customer projects, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to delivery.
Represent Nodi at industry events, promoting the brand and inspiring partners to specify Nodi products.
As the successful candidate, you will:
Have a proven track record in sales, business development, or account management within a design or fashion-forward industry (interiors, textiles, architecture).
Be proficient in CRM and sales management software.
Have a strong understanding of the design and specifying process.
Have exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrate outstanding time management and prioritisation abilities.
Be creative and commercially savvy, with a knack for translating customer visions into bespoke solutions.
Be professional, polished, and poised in industry representation.
