We're on the lookout for a dynamic Wholesale Account Manager to lead the expansion and advancement of our client's prominent lifestyle brands, which includes one of New Zealand’s most fashionable footwear brands. We are looking for someone with drive and determination, ready to collaborate closely with customers to deliver exceptional outcomes.

In this role, you'll be responsible for boosting sales with key retail partners while also identifying and seizing new sales opportunities across your designated territory, primarily covering Christchurch and spanning the majority of the South Island and lower North Island.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at cultivating strong customer relationships, as well as goal-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets through diligent effort and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships within a designated Sales Territory spanning the South and lower North Island.

  • Introducing new product lines and conducting staff training sessions.

  • Meeting and surpassing sales targets and goals.

  • Regular travel throughout the South and lower North Island, centered in Christchurch.

  • Identifying and capitalising on new business prospects.

  • Providing comprehensive reports to internal stakeholders on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.

  • Supporting the implementation of key marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A driven and energetic Account Manager with 2+ years’ experience in wholesale sales

  • Strong communication and time management skills.

  • Experience in the fashion retail industry field-based or retail sales

  • Proven history of exceeding sales targets and business objectives.

  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to managing their territory.

  • Exceptional presentation and relationship-building abilities.

  • Proficiency in computer usage and interpreting sales reports.
