We’re excited to present this opportunity for a Buyer role within a well-established and growing womenswear brand. This company is known for delivering on-trend, high-quality fashion that resonates with a wide range of customers across New Zealand.
This position is ideal for an experienced Buyer who thrives on creativity, trend forecasting, and driving results. You’ll play a key role in product development and range planning, ensuring the latest trends are brought to market effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop seasonal ranges that reflect market trends and meet customer demands.
Conduct performance analysis for categories, providing insights and identifying opportunities.
Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure smooth product launches and campaigns.
Participate in daily fitting sessions to refine product fit and quality.
Travel internationally to research trends and contribute to strategic seasonal direction.
Optimise and grow assigned product categories to achieve sales and profit targets.
We are looking for someone with:
Previous experience in fashion retail buying, ideally within womenswear.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrication, and trend forecasting.
Solid computer literacy across Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Full working rights in New Zealand and the ability to travel internationally.
