Senior Financial Accountant - Fashion & Apparel | contract
32 to 40 hours per week (flexible)

Play a key role across two leading apparel brands
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to step into a role with real scope and variety. Covering parental leave, you’ll be working across two well-known apparel brands, splitting your time between supporting business operations and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you’ll be hands-on in producing management accounts, reconciling key balance sheet accounts (including inventory), and supporting forecasting and reforecasting cycles. You’ll also act as a trusted business partner to retail and online teams, providing insights and solutions that help drive commercial success.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and complete monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
Reconcile sales, margin, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet accounts
Support forecasting, reforecasting, and pricing for tender submissions
Partner with retail and online teams, providing analysis and solutionsMentor the Finance Assistant and contribute to finance team development
Support ad hoc projects and business initiatives across the group
What you’ll bring:
CA qualification (or equivalent) with proven accounting experience
Strong technical skills, ideally with exposure to Xero and Cin7/DEAR
High attention to detail with a methodical, organised approach
The ability to communicate clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships
A positive, curious mindset and confidence in problem-solving
Passion for working in a collaborative team environment
