  • Responsible for the brand, PR, marketing, and digital strategy, including the development, management, and execution 

  • Be part of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Directors and General Manager

This is a rare opportunity to join a timeless, luxury women's fashion label as their Head of Brand. Overseeing the marketing team, this role is responsible for the brand, PR, marketing and digital strategy, as well as the management and execution of it. In addition, defining and protecting the brand identity, while overseeing the consistency of the brand throughout the business is essential in this role. 

In this role, some of the key responsibilities include;

  • Define, manage and maintain marketing budget in line with the yearly marketing plan and sales targets

  • Identify and build a pipeline of potential collaborations and partnerships, seek and negotiate brand collaboration opportunities, and ensure brand governance and consistency in brand execution

  • Lead brand projects, activations, partnerships, instore experiential events, media opportunities, brand collaborations, social media, key influencer engagement, promotions and advertising

  • Manage in collaboration with Creative Director concept, production and execution of campaign, lookbook and e-commerce photoshoots. Managing external and internal teams.

  • Create retail events strategy alongside the Head of Retail for and local retail events aligned to the brand marketing, cultural and events calendar, delivering engaging customer experiences

  • PR and communications strategy including media relations, press releases, press pitching, event and influencer marketing

  • Pitch key press opportunities and stories to NZ and AU media and create press coverage reports seasonally and annually

  • Responsible for reputation management and development of brand awareness PR campaigns 

  • Manage digital marketing and social media strategy and management to optimise digital advertising, ecommerce and retail performance

  • Implement data-driven approaches to understand customer behaviour, tailoring marketing strategies accordingly

  • Work closely with the external digital agency to craft effective digital marketing strategies.

As the successful candidate, you will have;

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in luxury fashion, or lifestyle, with several years as a Brand or Creative Marketing Director in a brand setting

  • Proven leadership experience, you must be able to manage internal and external teams with a collaborative approach

  • Excellent multitasking skills, with the proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects

  • Must be digitally minded, have an entrepreneurial spirit, for online and offline direct-to-consumer channels

  • Have experience in managing projects effectively, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard

  • An understanding and appreciation of fashion, art and design

  • Be highly organised and work well under pressure

  • Have a degree in Fashion, Marketing, Communications or an equivalent qualification
