National Sales Manager - Fashion
We have a rare and exceptional opportunity for a retail and wholesale leader to step into a
National Sales Manager role with one of New Zealand’s most covert designer fashion brands.
This role will lead their retail team across the boutiques in Auckland, Wellington Christchurch,
and Dunedin while supporting the wholesale partners.
With an impeccable eye for fashion and impressive industry experience, you will work closely
with the online, marketing, workroom, and retail teams to drive sales for the company.
Key responsibilities will include;
Lead, motivate, and mentor boutique managers, and the online and wholesale teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the brand vision and objectives.
Foster and manage relationships with clients and wholesale partners, ensuring consistent brand experience and high levels of engagement.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Ensure that all client touchpoints in both boutiques and wholesale adhere to the brand standards and values.
Coach and develop the sales teams across boutiques and wholesale to deliver a best-in-class experience.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure stock deliveries are timely and allocated to the right stores. Stock procedures are followed, and stock levels are accurate.

As the successful candidate, you will have:
3-5 years + experience in a multi-site retail environment.
A strong track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Experience in, or exposure to working in fashion wholesale
Experience working to deadlines and within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail, be a proven problem solver, and have excellent communication skills and personal presentation.
