


Brand and Content Designer – Fashion & Athleisure | Contract
12 month contract

We’re on the lookout for a creatively-driven Senior Brand and Content Designer to take the reins on all things visual and storytelling for one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing fashion and athleisure labels.
This is not your typical content role — you’ll be the go-to for everything in-house and visual: concepting campaigns, directing shoots, designing lookbooks, scouting models and locations, and bringing brand narratives to life through typography, layout, and styling. You’ll need to have a sharp creative eye, a strong design sensibility, and a natural feel for what’s next in fashion and content.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading the creative direction for campaigns, lookbooks, and social content
Planning and executing photo/video shoots (locations, talent, styling, poses, and props)
Designing digital assets for email, web, signage, and paid mediaCrafting visual themes and typography for each seasonal story
Scouting, moodboarding, and curating high-impact creative that aligns with the brand
Working closely with the founder and marketing team to maintain a consistent aesthetic
Managing content delivery across all channels (Instagram, email, website, etc.)
You’ll bring:
5+ years' experience in content, design, or creative roles — ideally in fashion or lifestyle
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
A portfolio that shows exceptional taste and a real eye for detail
Strong art direction and on-set experience (bonus if you’ve run shoots solo)
Confidence across digital design, typography, layout and image curation
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo/Mailchimp, and social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)
A highly organised, self-starting approach — this is a hands-on role
